What I truly don't understand is the exact same template is used to generate all the other RSS feeds I have added to our app. I successfully added another feed today with no problem. It validates, so what is the problem here?
Wow, so you have gone from not answering my questions on Get Satisfaction to not answering my questions here on Vanilla. This is not an improvement folks.
I have discussed your issue with our tech team and they will address it and provide you with a solution in the next 24 hours. Thank you for your involvement.
My question for you is what is the cost of taking my time and yours with these frequent forum posts? $25? $100? More?
The more posts I respond to the less time I have time to solve actual issues. Is there a way we can make our dialogue more concise that way we can both utilize our valuable skill-sets more productively and efficiently?
Great to hear from you and thank you for the question. I will have my tech team address your feed issue and if you could tell me the title of your app I will get them working immediately. Thanks.
I went over every detail in the jobs section of your webpage and I am not sure what webpage you are trying to feed from. Can you send me the webpage link that you are deriving your RSS feed from please?
Also, I put my tech team on this and while I am troubleshooting they will in all likelihood figure it out before I do. I hope to hear from you soon with the URL address. Thanks.
Note, the template that generates that feed generates EVERY OTHER FEED that I have included in my app.
Is that better? All that we seek here is a "hey thanks for posting we are looking into it" and forgive me if we are all a little quick to judge but lots of questions went WEEKS and MONTHS with no feedback on the Get Satisfaction site.
Today when trying to add the feed again, it finally worked! Not sure if you did any thing but thanks! I tried for a few days to add it and had given up.
Thank you for hanging in there with us. We worked through some bugs last night in hopes of fixing the RSS feed read issue. Great to hear that it worked for you this morning please send any more questions or concerns my way.
I am putting in a valid rss feed that I use on my site http://fashionablyaustin.com/blog/feed/ and your form says "there was an error in submission" I've tried it and another valid feed several times and cannot get it to setup. I would like to pay you money for a service. Looks like this is a common problem - can you guys deliver?
I am now having the same issue. Im using a feedburner url which has been confirmed as working and now i cant add the feed to my app. The name of my app is "This Week in Blackness"
Hello, I;m tryiong to post my first app and I'm also getting the same message: Unfortunately there was an error in submission. Please try again. Here's the URL feed I'm using: http://catholiclivingtoday.blogspot.com/atom.xml . I appreciate your asist please
Please excuse my very late response thank you for remaining so patient with us because we found a solution. Can you please give me your App name, iSites Network ID and erroneous RSS feed(s). Thank you again.
If you would feel more comfortable you can email me your info at Grant@genwi.com.
I am now having that issues with my new app (started yesterday) called Power Cheer Calgary. It added one feed but now won't add the second twitter feed and I get that error message. I also posted in support.
Can you try testing the feed to ensure that is valid? Try clicking the blue link under the content tab called (W3C Feed Validator). This will allow you to paste in your feed and check and make sure it is in the correct format for the app. Thank you for your question, I will check back with you later to see if the issue is resolved.
Thank you for using our support fourm. I've been all through Grassrootsmotorsports.com and the site looks great! Unfortunately our system does not yet support an interactive forum like the feed you are trying to add. Your site, though, has a lot of good content especially under the articles tab. I might recommend using feeds for your articles with the cool images. Hook in your audience with those and utilize our Shout Out feature to create your forum within the app itself. Hope this helps.
Those aren't my acctual feeds. Those were blogger feeds I built just to test blogger with it. my blog is http://www.improvewithchris.com/apps/blog/entries/feed/rss and that still isn't working. thanks for responding though! I took off the other feeds so they shouldn't confuse you, sorry.
