I have several questions, and I've tried surfing around the bulletin boards to answer them, but I'm only getting more questions by doing so.
1) I don't want my app to use Facebook. How can I delete that feature? 2) I thought that when I was advised to open a blogger account because iSites said it was integrated with blogger that the app graphics would have the same look and feel of my blog. How do I make that happen? I'm using one of the simple templates at blogger. 3) I purchased a domain name from godaddy last week that I wish to use for my blog and app URLs (instead of the .blogspot and .isites subdomain names). Can someone tell me how to do that? 4) How do I make an info page linked to the little italicized 'i' in a circle one sees on most apps that flips the interface to a page with information about the app? 5) I see that someone has set up categories in her app. Is this like pages in a website, and, if so, can someone tell me how to set up these pages so they integrate with pages on my blog (perhaps in a gadget and, if so, what type of gadget would it be)?
Thanks for all your questions. Here are my answers:
a) Facebook is used only when the person wants to leave comments. Currently we cannot take that out of the apps unless a custom request is made. It is not required to access the app or content within the app.
b) It is most likely you were recommended to open a blogger account to get the blog feed to your app. We do not take on the template design in the app. This is because those templates are not optimized for viewing on the mobile.
c) I will have to look into this and get back to you.
d) There is an about us page on the app with information about the app. You can find it in the more section. If you'd like to create a separate category within the app called info, you can easily do taht and link it to a quick post with information about the app.
