best blogs to gather feed from?

I am currently pushing rss feed from my wordpress blog. I wonder if there is a better blog format to use like posterious. I notice that the graphics show us oddly from my feed to the isites app. My blog is parentingtoolbox.com and my app is parentingtoolbox.isites.us

We looked at your feeds and have a couple of inputs.
Wordpress usually has very high quality feeds and should not be an issue.
I think some of the issues we are having with images pertain to the actual image file names. For example, I noticed for posts where images weren't showing up, the file name had extensions like ".svg_.png". This may be posing a problem in our system.
Please rename these for the future so has to only have one extension.
